Clinics and Conditioning Camps Information
Checking Clinics: Complete
CMHA will host two checking clinics for registered U15 Players. Full gear is mandatory, all sessions are on-ice. No registration required. Invitation emails will be sent to all registered U15 players prior to clinic.
CMHA Player/Goalie Conditioning Camp: Schedule
Each year CMHA offers four, one hour, on-ice sessions prior to the start of Player and Goalie Evaluations for players aged 9-17. These sessions focus on increasing an athlete's physical conditioning and confidence prior to Evaluations.
The camps are limited to approximately 30 registered players for each division and a waitlist will be started once the camps are full. Cost is $110, and is non-refundable.

U9 and U11 Prep Skates: Schedule
In accordance with the Intro to Hockey Model and U11 Pathway implemented by Hockey Alberta, CMHA will once again provide Prep Skates for those registered in U9 and U11 for the 2023-2024 season, prior to the start of Evaluations. The purpose of these sessions is to create player confidence, introduce new concepts, and rules in a player friendly environment.
There is no cost associated with these clinics, so long as your player is registered in any U9 or U11 program with CMHA. Players will be added to specific groups. Groupings will be linked in the schedule and sent via email.
***Open to all U9 and U11 Players registered with CMHA, no registration required. Families will receive communication via email sometime in August.
Intro to Goalie Clinic: September 9th
For those interested in trying out the Goalie position for the first time, CMHA will host an Intro to Goalie clinic at the Canmore Recreation Centre on September 9th from 11:30am-12:30pm. This free session is open to all interested, registered players with CMHA. Equipment can be provided.
