Tournament/Fundraising Coordinator

Canmore Minor Hockey Association is currently looking for a Tournament/Fundraising Coordinator.
This part-time, commission based position, will require 10 to 15 hours per week, with some months requiring a higher load. Duties include all activities related to running successful tournaments, as well as attending CMHA General Monthly board meetings.

The Canmore Minor Hockey Association would like to thank Lafarge for again sponsoring our Association. Lafarge has made major contributions to our Association in the past and continues to be a major sponsor of our Association. This year, Lafarge has generously donated funds towards the purchase of new goalie equipment for our Association.
Goalie equipment is being purchased through local retailer and supporter of Canmore Minor Hockey, Sports Experts, who are supplying the equipment to us at a discounted price.
Permission to Try-Out Forms

Pee-Wee, Bantam, and Midget players who played with our organization last year wishing to try-out for a team at a higher level organization (i.e. Bow Valley Timerwolves AA) need to complete a Permission to Try-Out Form. Please: (1) click the link below to obtain the form, (2) e-mail the CMHA Registrar at loganna@shaw.ca to obtain your Hockey Canada ID #, and (3) contact the CMHA President, Al Scurfield, at (403) 609-9989 to arrange to get a signature. Please note that players wishing to try-out for a team at a higher-level organization should also register with Canmore Minor Hockey before June 30th to ensure that there is a spot available should they require it.

On-Line Registration Starts Monday, June 7

On-Line Registration for the 2010/2011 Hockey Season will commence Monday, June 7, 2010. For those of you who are unable to register on-line, there will also be an in-person registration night at the Canmore Recreation Centre on Wednesday, June 16, from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. The deadline for on-line registration is Wednesday, June 30, 2010. After this date, registrations will still be accepted but space may be limited.
