The Respect in Sport Parent Program helps set a standard of behaviour for all parents, fostering a safer, more respectful, and rewarding environment for everyone involved in hockey. Parents want to support their children in the best way possible, and this program provides the tools to do just that.
Certification is valid for four (4) years.
If you are registering a new player in your family for the first time, you MUST link them to your RIS certification. Follow the instructions here.

The Respect in Sport Activity Leader/Coach Program educates coaches and team staff on how to recognize, understand, and respond to bullying, abuse, harassment, and discrimination. It plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all participants.
All rostered (carded) team staff are required to complete this training.
Fees for this course will be reimbursed by the association.
To receive reimbursement, please complete and submit this form by December 1st, 2025.
